He started in the brass/bass section and progressed to bass guitar in High School. This is where he found his niche, taught himself acoustic guitar and started song writing, and over the last few months the song writing has been prolific. Onwards and upwards.
April has been playing guitar since 15. She mostly plays cover songs ranging from contemporary popular styles by artists such as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Brooke Fraser, Rihanna, Adele to name a few.
April also enjoys performing old classic hits by Cold Chisel, Mark Seymour, Take That, James Taylor, Crowded House etc.
During his time performing with Gung Ho, Quenel would constantly challenge the conventions of pub music with his unique styles and interpretations of modern songs which have acclaimed great attention. Today, Quenel is filling out venues all over Brisbane as a solo artist with an incredibly vibrant and energetic sound and has become highly demanded within the live music entertainment scene. After the 2011 Toyota Star Maker, Jess began to expand her fan base, playing alongside acts such as Luke Dickens, Ladies of Jazz (Paulini, Christine Anu and Grace Knight), and Uncle Bobs Jug Band. In August 2011, Jess recorded and released an acoustic EP, Test for a Cowboy, - a five song dedication to poet, Kevin Pye. After recording, she was accepted into and graduated from the 2011 CMAA Country Music College in Tamworth. Her musical abilities were recognised and encouraged, being mentored by musicians such as Lynn Bowtell, Mike McClellan and Lawrie Minson.

Owie makes his constantly updated song lists available to the audience at every performance and never knocks back a legitimate request, working on the theory that “It’s a lot easier to create a happy crowd when you’re playing material that they want to hear”.

Specialising in ‘Classic Country’ – the music she was raised on – Amanda uses her passion for music and her innate ability to tell a story through it, to create an intimate and interactive performance that draws audiences in and allows them to become part of the show themselves as they join in with the many popular songs on Amanda’s set list.
With a voice that’s “made for country”, and likened to those of Tania Kernaghan and Anne Kirkpatrick, Amanda’s performances are something simply not to be missed. With several ‘Overall Performer’ awards from the country music festival circuit under her belt, and having shared the stage as a support act for artists including James Blundell, Rob Black, and Star-maker Winners Luke Austen and Luke Dickens; Amanda’s many awards and performances are testimony to her amazing vocal ability.
Recently, Amanda joined forces with her brother and a close friend – both accomplished musicians in their own right – to form the band ‘Whiskey Road’, of which Amanda is lead vocalist and guitarist. The band has become increasingly popular in recent months, allowing Amanda to branch out with her music to include Country Rock and Pub Songs.
Also a talented songwriter, Amanda lives by her saying “Don’t die with the music in you”, and draws on life experiences to create her songs. Amanda is working to release a collection of these original works on her first album in the near future.
With an ear for music and a knack for writing from a very early age, it wasn't long before she began converting poetry into songs. Growing up in rural Queensland, Peta was typically inspired by Country Music.
Thesedays, her gene of music is best described as indi-folk. After overcoming a battle with stage-fright, Peta's career as a solo artist has moved in leaps and bounds. She has been delighting listeners with her "soothing" voice across the Sunshine Coast for roughly two years and will be recording her debut EP later this year.

Rachel has fronted bands and played as solo pianist/vocalist at many five star Australian venues including a residency at the Sofitel Hotel in Brisbane and performances at the Conrad Treasury and Conrad Jupiters Casino, Novotel Hotel, Stamford Plaza, Sirromet Winery, Dunk Island Resort and various other five star venues. She has performed at various festivals and events in solo, duo and band format.
Internationally, Rachel has been contracted as resident performer, six nights per week, at five star venues including Swisotel, Dalian (China) and Marriott Hotel Shanghai (China). In the studio, Rachel has often undertakes vocal sessions for well-known Brisbane producers. Her debut EP was released in Australia in 2007 and full length album is due for release in 2010.

Joe provides a full-size (88 key) Roland RD700sx Stage Piano & powered speakers. A mixer + microphone & stand for use as a PA System and/or IPods etc. is available on request. If your event is outdoors please ensure there is available electricity within 15m of where piano is to be set up. If your venue is equipped with a piano and/or sound system Joe is more than happy to make use of the available equipment.

Amber has competed in country music festivals for 11 years winning many awards and qualifying for Qld Champion of Champs 9 years running. Peter has played in covers bands and high school musicals as a teenager and was part of a jazz rock ensemble for the first ever stage production of Grease. As a young adult he played in a very slick Brisbane based Gospel Rock band, Masterpeace. Masterpeace were the support act for American gospel artist David Meece during one of his Australian tours. Robby Kernaghan (wife of Lee Kernaghan) also hired Masterpeace as a backing band earlier in her career. More recently Peter has been working with country artist Victoria Edwards as a bass player, guitarist and backing vocalist. He has played support to such names as The McClymonts, Troy Cassar-Daley and McAllister Kemp. He is currently working on his own material in addition to some co-writing.
